Have you ever worked for someone who tore away at your confidence? I do!!! My boss is a beautiful human being. I am completely sincere on this one. However, she is a very critical. She rarely can give you a full on compliment about what you do. There usually has to be something wrong even if it is a minute issue. If there is a flaw to be found, she is there to find it. I am 100% sure that she is like this with herself as well and that is a small consolation. I have thought of just ignoring her input. HOW I WISH I COULD. Sadly, I am not built that way. I mean I had never really been criticized about my performance in the classroom. Ironically, I am a better teacher now than ever, as I have a renewed zest for my job that has come with maturity, personal experience with my own kids, and flat out experience in the classroom. I have had time to discover what works and what doesn't work. It is almost like a challenge for me now. I want her to find everything perfect and not by a regular person's standards, but by hers. FOOLISH ME!!!
